A new semi-annual parking card for electric vehicles is coming to Nicosia’s municipal areas.
Starting January 1, 2026, owners of electric vehicles can enjoy a new parking policy in Nicosia. The Municipal Council decided to offer a 20% discount on the semi-annual subscription for all organized parking areas in the city. The discounted card costs 216 euros and is valid for six months from activation. For the Old GSP Municipal Parking Area, it costs 288 euros.
If you’re interested, please apply by emailing ParkingServices@nicosia.org.cy. Include a copy of your vehicle’s ownership title and mention the municipal parking area you want to use.
The card is valid only for the chosen area. The process ends with a debit note, which you can pay at the Municipality’s cashiers or online. After you receive the payment receipt, the Municipality will issue the card and let you know when it’s ready for pickup. With this new policy, Nicosia Municipality encourages electric mobility by giving incentives to electric vehicle drivers and supporting greener transportation options in the city.
