On Monday afternoon, Nicosia faced serious traffic problems after a road accident on Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue, near Jumbo.
Initial reports say a truck was involved in the accident, causing a traffic jam in the area. The police closed the road from the accident site to the American Heart roundabout and are managing traffic flow.
The police stated that two trucks were involved in the accident, leading to the closure of two traffic lanes. This affects the flow from Strovolos Avenue (Metro roundabout) towards Tseriou Avenue (Theoktisto roundabout).
