Nicosia happily welcomed little Irineos, the city’s first baby of 2026, after Limassol’s first arrival.
Irineos was born naturally at 38 weeks and 5 days, weighing 3,460 grams. His arrival brought joy to parents and staff. Marianna Pavlou went to the Mother and Child Medical Center in Nicosia in the morning with her water broken. At 16:18, she held little Irineos in her arms, with Dr. Andreas Siailou by her side.
The proud parents are George and Marianna.
In Limassol, the first baby of the year was born at the Health Polyclinic through natural childbirth, weighing 3 kilograms. Both mother and baby are doing great under the care of Dr. Natalia Sakhnova.
