Seven PAOK supporters lost their lives in a car accident in Romania, on their way to cheer for their team in a Europa League match against Lyon. Their loss has deeply affected all Greek sports fans. During their match against Ajax in the Champions League, they displayed a heartfelt banner for the PAOK supporters with the message: “Fly high, eagles.”
This gesture shows that beyond teams and colors, brotherhood and human solidarity can connect us, even in tough times. A simple banner, filled with emotion, became a message of love and respect that will stay in everyone’s hearts.
