The Cyprus Football Association shared the Sports Judge’s decisions on Tuesday morning (23/12).
OMONIA has been hit with a penalty. They will play one away match and one home match without fans. This is due to incidents during the game against AEK at the Arena, where dangerous objects were set off in the stands and firecrackers were thrown onto the field.
This means our team won’t have its supporters for the first match after the holidays. That game is on January 3rd, away against Akritas Chlorakas.
After that, OMONIA will play AEL away with fans allowed. The penalty will end with the cup match against AEK at GSP, where the team will be without its 12th player.
