Pafos is looking at different options for a striker. They want to strengthen their team during the winter transfer window.
According to OLOI.CY, one player on their list is Pedro Mendes. His full name is Pedro Manuel Lobo Peixoto Mineiro Mendes. He is 26 years old, born on 01/08/1999, and comes from Portugal.
He plays for Modena and can be a central striker or a second striker. He started his career at Vitoria Guimaraes and has also played for Santanense, Moreirense, Sporting Lisbon, Almeria, Nacional, Rio Ave, and Ascoli. He has represented Portugal’s youth national teams, with his last stop being the Under-21 National Team.
This situation is tricky since other clubs like Spezia and Bari want him too. They are trying to get him on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
It’s important to mention that Modena paid over two million euros to get Mendes’ rights from Ascoli in the summer of 2024.
