Paphos municipal authorities say they are moving into a permanent upgrade phase for the new industrial area, following last summer’s clean-up campaign and a new round of meetings with local businesses.
Acting mayor Angelos Onisiforou said conditions have already improved substantially, with abandoned vehicles removed, public spaces cleaned and long-neglected problem spots brought under control.
He stressed that the intervention is not a one-off operation but an ongoing effort, including regular maintenance of greenery and pavements so the area can function properly and present a better image.
The municipality says continued cooperation with business operators is essential to preserve progress and deliver a full-scale long-term upgrade of the industrial zone.
