Police look into a fraud case after a complaint from a 30-year-old Paralimni resident.
Police say they arrested a 47-year-old man in Paralimni. He allegedly sold four mobile phones for 2,000 euros, but they were fake. The complaint came from a 30-year-old who was approached by two strangers on January 23, 2026.
The 47-year-old was arrested under a court order and will appear in Famagusta District Court tomorrow for a remand hearing. The police are still investigating the case.
