All recent proposals were withdrawn, and an amendment from DISY, AKEL, ELAM, and DIPA was approved. This amendment stops animal exams in centers for humans. Also, an amendment was approved that bans animal exams in these centers. Now, animals will only be examined in specialized centers.
During the session, there were heated discussions about the amendments and whether to delay the vote. This idea was rejected, so the bill moved to voting as planned.
