A SIG SAUER pistol and 670 grams of TNT were found under an abandoned refrigerator on a road in Monagri, Limassol.
The evidence was collected and sent for forensic testing, while initial indications suggest the weapon is in good condition.
Police are examining possible links to other cases and checking for DNA traces and fingerprints.
