A terror attack management exercise will happen on Friday at the Nicosia Conference Center. It will involve the Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, and the Cypriot Presidency.
During the exercise, teams will be mobilized and blank shots will be fired. There’s no need for public concern. The exercise is set for Friday, December 19, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM, at the Nicosia Conference Center.

The exercise will simulate a terror attack at the Conference Center. Various services and departments from the Cyprus Police, the Ambulance Service, the Fire Service, and the Cypriot Presidency Secretariat will take part. The goal is to check how ready and responsive these services are, coordinate security matters, and help staff get familiar with the venue and its facilities.
