Nineteen vehicles were taken during the night after police checks. This was part of planned operations with more officers in key urban areas to stop serious crimes and keep public order.

During these operations, police arrested ten people for different offenses. Four were arrested for living illegally in Cyprus, two for domestic violence, one for missing a court date, two for having burglary tools, and one for drunk driving that caused a traffic accident with damage.

Throughout the night, police stopped 397 vehicles and checked 97 people in those vehicles. They also checked 30 places to stop illegal activities. Traffic checks led to 147 complaints for various violations, including eight for drunk driving. A total of 189 alcohol tests were done, and 19 vehicles were seized during traffic investigations.

The operations are part of an ongoing plan by the police to prevent crime across all districts. This includes more officers and targeted checks to boost safety and security for citizens.
