Last night, police made twelve arrests across Cyprus during special operations. These efforts aimed to stop serious crimes and keep public order.
The police said the arrests were linked to illegal stay in the Republic, illegal possession of property, and illegal employment. They also found people with warrants for unpaid fines. In some cases, they discovered burglary tools, raising worries about more serious crimes.
During these operations, police detained four vehicles while checking for traffic offenses. They inspected 29 establishments, reporting 12 for various legal issues.
On the roads, there were over 540 checks, leading to over 110 reports for traffic violations, including 37 for speeding.
