The police arrested two people last night during organized operations for assault and threats.
These arrests were focused on improving public safety and tackling violence. The suspects are now in custody, and the investigations are ongoing. The police are also continuing operations to prevent and respond quickly to similar incidents.
Moreover, the police carried out thorough checks on drivers and locations, recording a total of 408 traffic violations. There were 182 reports of speeding, and concerns arose from checks for driving under the influence: four drivers tested positive in initial drug tests.
Last night, 625 vehicles and 830 people were checked, along with 31 inspections of locations. Additionally, three people were reported for driving under the influence of alcohol after 67 checks.
