Last night, police found 39 drivers who were drunk during nationwide road checks.
The Police reported that out of more than 1,050 checks, there were 170 traffic violations. Of these, 39 were for driving under the influence, and another 65 were for speeding.
During the same operations, police impounded 15 vehicles and arrested seven individuals for crimes like illegal drug possession and carrying weapons. These checks took place at key urban locations and are part of the Police’s plan to fight crime and improve road safety.
