On Sunday afternoon (25/1), police rushed to help after the parents asked for assistance in getting their child to the hospital.
The child had a head injury from a fall, making it an urgent situation. The family was on their way from a community in the Nicosia district but needed police help for a faster and safer trip.
Members of the “Z” Team found the vehicle at the Anthoupolis roundabout. They stayed in touch with the driver and escorted them to the Emergency Department. The trip took just seven minutes, and the child was quickly handed over to doctors for care.
This incident shows how important quick responses are in emergencies and how vital cooperation is between citizens and police when lives are on the line.
