Last night, law enforcement raised an alarm after a violent incident in Larnaca. It’s being looked into as an attempted murder case.
According to the Cyprus Police, the incident happened around 8:00 PM in the Kiti area. A 38-year-old foreign national allegedly stabbed a 35-year-old man from Sri Lanka.
The 35-year-old was taken to Larnaca General Hospital. He is in serious condition but not in immediate danger, according to doctors.
The authorities found and arrested the 38-year-old suspect. He is now in custody. Investigations are ongoing to understand what happened and why.
