The Police carried out focused checks in urban areas last night. This was to prevent crime and boost safety for citizens.
During these operations, eight people were arrested across the country. They faced charges like illegal possession of property, missing court dates, illegal residency, serious bodily harm, impersonation, using forged documents, fraud, reckless driving, and resisting arrest.
That same night, the Police checked 23 establishments and filed five complaints. On the roads, they conducted over 380 checks, resulting in 115 traffic offense reports. From 111 alcohol tests, four violations were found.
Additionally, while investigating traffic offenses, one vehicle was seized. These operations are part of a larger plan by the Police to prevent crime and maintain public order.
