Police raided a private party in Paphos to prevent crime. They checked 65 people in total. Four were arrested for having illegal weapons, brass knuckles, and cash.
During the checks, police arrested a 42-year-old man. He was charged with illegal possession of property and an offensive weapon. They found brass knuckles and €3,000 on him. He couldn’t explain where they came from.
Three more people were arrested too. They were aged 45, 29, and 30. They had cash but couldn’t explain it. The 45-year-old had €3,000, the 29-year-old had €5,000, and the 30-year-old had €12,810.
The inspection of the premises showed it was operating without the necessary licenses for running a business, selling alcohol, and playing music. The 63-year-old owner was charged in writing.
