Since Saturday morning (around 9:00), Troodos has faced tough weather. Heavy rain and thick fog are making driving tricky.
Roads to and within Troodos are open for all vehicles. However, the road surface is very slippery, and visibility is low in many spots. Police are on-site to monitor the roads and help, especially where there are soil or rock falls and water buildup.
Drivers should go slow, keep a safe distance, turn on their headlights, and be extra careful in areas with standing water.
