There’s a new phone scam, and the Police are warning everyone about it. Citizens have reported this to the Cybercrime Subdivision.

The Police say that unknown people are making video calls using communication apps. They pretend to be employees of the online bank Revolut. Their goal is to steal banking details and access accounts.

Authorities ask everyone not to answer these calls or follow any instructions from strangers.

Be careful not to share sensitive information like passwords, one-time codes, PINs, bank card details, or personal data.

The Police also suggest verifying the identity of anyone who contacts you through official banking channels.

If you’ve already shared your banking details during such calls, contact your bank right away. This way, they can take protective measures for your accounts.
