The cities and villages of Cyprus are starting to announce this year’s carnival events, and the Municipality of Polis Chrysochous is excited to join in!
They invite all groups and organizations that want to take part in the carnival parade on Sunday, February 22, 2026. The parade will start from the courtyard of the Church of Apostle Andreas. Please submit your Participation Declaration.
You can send your declarations to the Municipal Service Officer A, Ms. Neophyta Kyprianou. Reach her by phone at 26323527 / 26323550, or email her at neophyta@polis.org.cy. Use the relevant form attached to this publication.
Each group with at least eight members will get a sponsorship of €150 from the Municipality. Plus, there are cash prizes for the best groups:
• First Prize: €500
• Second Prize: €300
• Third Prize: €200
The Municipality hopes for lots of participation from all organized bodies and groups in the Polis Chrysochous area.

The last day to submit participation declarations is Friday, February 6, 2026.
