The Municipality of Paralimni – Deryneia has officially registered a trademark and trade name for Protaras’ ‘Endless Summer’. This move secures the resort’s tourism identity.
The name registered with the Intellectual Property Registrar is in English: ‘Protaras, Your Endless Summer’. The Municipality says this action positions Protaras as a year-round destination, welcoming families and visitors of all ages.
A related announcement states that securing the trademark allows its use in all campaigns and promotional activities. This will enhance the cohesion and recognition of the tourism message.
The Mayor of Paralimni – Deryneia, Giorgos Nikolettos, called the initiative ‘very important and substantial’. He mentioned that this step officially secures the identity of the destination, which is one of the top tourist resorts in the Mediterranean.
He added that this action is part of a wider initiative to create a unified branding strategy, which is currently underway. The goal is to systematically upgrade Protaras’ image in the international tourism market.
