Today, the sky will be partly to mostly cloudy. There will be occasional isolated showers and a chance of a thunderstorm. Higher peaks of Troodos might see some snow or sleet. Winds will blow from the southwest to northwest, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, but locally moderate to strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slightly rough in places. Expect temperatures around 19 degrees in the interior and coastal areas, and about 7 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight, it will be partly cloudy with some isolated showers and a chance of thunderstorms, mainly in the western part of the island. Winds will mainly come from the southwest, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, occasionally reaching moderate to strong at 4 to 5 Beaufort. The sea will remain slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 9 degrees in the interior, 15 degrees on the western coast, around 12 degrees in other coastal areas, and 3 degrees in the higher mountains where frost may form.
On Thursday, we can expect isolated showers mainly in the western half of the island, gradually spreading to other areas with possible thunderstorms. On Friday, it will be cloudy with local showers and isolated thunderstorms. Snow or sleet may fall on the higher peaks of Troodos. On Saturday, expect mostly cloudy skies with possible isolated showers that should improve soon.
The temperature is expected to stay about the same and remain above average for this time of year.
