A weak low-pressure system is affecting the area, bringing some thin dust in the air.
Today, clouds will increase. Local showers and isolated storms are expected to develop from the west. Some intense weather may include hail, and snow is likely at the higher points of Troodos. Winds will mainly blow from northeast to southeast, weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, with local gusts reaching 4 to 5 Beaufort. During storms, winds will be strong and variable. The sea will be slightly rough and locally rough. The temperature will rise to 20 degrees inland and on the coast, and around 10 degrees in the higher mountains.
In the evening, the weather will turn partly cloudy, with a chance of isolated showers mainly along the coast. Winds will stay weak to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and the sea will remain slightly rough. The temperature will drop to 8 degrees inland, around 11 on the coast, and 4 degrees in the mountains, where frost may form locally.
On Monday and Tuesday, expect a mix of sunshine and clouds, with possible isolated showers or storms. Snow or sleet could occur in the higher mountains. On Wednesday, the weather will stay similar, with some clouds and a chance of isolated events.
The temperature will not change much and will stay slightly above normal for this time of year.
