On Sunday, January 18, 2026, roads in Nicosia will be closed for running events. This is to ensure everyone’s safety. Traffic will be redirected to nearby roads during the charity runs.
Police officers will be on-site to help the public and manage traffic. Temporary road signs will guide drivers.
The following roads will be closed from 5:45 AM to 1:00 PM on Sunday:

- Paphos Street
- Mikis Theodorakis Street
- Markou Drakou Square
- Kinyra Street
- Nehru Street
- Lord Byron Street
- Georgios Grivas Digenis Avenue (one lane closed between Lord Byron Street and the roundabout with Heroon and Kyriakou Matsi Streets, in Engomi and Agios Dometios)
- Prokopiou Street and Archangel Michael Avenue (one lane closed between Georgios Grivas Digenis Avenue and Leukotheou Avenue and Makedonitissis Street)
- Egypt Street
- Omirou Avenue (one lane closed near Solomos Statue and Eleftherias Square)
- Stasinos Avenue (one lane closed)
- Archbishop Makarios II Square
- Constantine Palaiologos Street
- Nikiforos Fokas Street
- Athena Street
- King George V Street
- Spyros Christodoulou Street
- Christakis Christofides Street
- Aegean Street
- Archbishop Makarios III Street in the Palouriotissa area
- Agios Ilarionos Street
- The roundabout of Kantara and Ilarionos Avenues in the Palouriotissa area
- Sinergasias Street
- Markos Botsaris Street
- The U-turn at the roundabout of Agios Ilarionos Avenue and Christos Samaras Street.
