Technical issues were reported on Wednesday morning on the Cyprus Road Transport Department website, the day the vehicle license renewal deadline expires.
Citizens said they could not complete the process online, even though last-minute renewals are handled only via the official platform.
The deadline is March 11 at 24:00. After that, an extra charge applies: €10 plus 10% of the annual fee. As of March 8, 677,133 licenses had been renewed.
