An important initiative for the restoration of the natural environment took place in Vouni, Limassol, where Rostro Group conducted a large-scale tree planting, planting a total of 2,000 trees.
The initiative was implemented on February 28 in collaboration with the Vouni Community Council, the Vouni Expatriates Association, and the Women’s Group of the village. It brought together company employees, residents, and volunteers. This action is part of the €100,000 commitment made by Rostro Group last summer to support communities affected by the devastating fires in July. The tree planting in Vouni is a significant step towards environmental restoration of the affected areas, turning the promise of support into a tangible act for the region’s natural landscape.
The event evolved into a true celebration of volunteerism and collective action. Rostro employees, village residents, and volunteers actively participated in the planting process, many accompanied by their families, contributing together to the effort to regenerate nature around the community.

The fires that affected many villages in mountainous Limassol last July left extensive damage to the natural environment and local ecosystems.
