Selected areas of Larnaca remained under rotational water cuts on Wednesday as operational problems at desalination units continued.
The Larnaca District Local Government Organization said supply from state water systems is still restricted, so targeted interruptions are being applied until further notice.
Residents are being urged to manage water stored in private tanks carefully in order to cover essential needs and avoid unexpected shortages during the day.
Authorities also reiterated the need for strict conservation measures and for avoiding unnecessary use while the network remains under pressure.
The district body apologized for the disruption and thanked consumers for their cooperation until normal supply is restored.
