He left the Bucharest club on good terms after the team’s poor league performance.
Speculation is already buzzing about the 45-year-old Nicosian coach possibly joining a team on the island at the start of the new year.
After AEL’s recent bad results and some fans urging management (and Damahou) not to renew Martins’ contract, some have mentioned Elias Charalambous as a possible candidate.
