SCHEDULE: What Changes with the Teachers’ Work Stoppage
Parents will once again “pay the price,” as the work stoppage by secondary and technical education teachers on Wednesday, November 19, leaves schools without morning student transport services, placing the entire burden of transporting children on their shoulders.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 19, due to the work stoppage by secondary and technical education teachers, there will be no morning student transport services from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The afternoon return services will operate as usual, as they do every day. The Ministry of Transport urges parents and guardians to ensure their children arrive at school on time that morning using their own means, as buses will not be running the usual student routes.
