The Cyprus Fire Service responded to forty-three incidents by 17:30 due to bad weather across the island.
Spokesperson Andreas Kettis said the calls were mostly about fallen trees, objects blown away by strong winds, water pumping, and sparking electrical cables.
Larnaca had the most incidents with 18 responses, followed by Famagusta with 14, Limassol with 9, Nicosia with 8, and Paphos with 3.
EMAK also dealt with a tree fall in the Kofinou area.
In Famagusta, there were several reports of dislodged objects. The Paralimni-Deryneia area had 14 events, two in Ayia Napa, and five sparking cables handled by the Cyprus Electricity Authority.
In Nicosia, there were tree falls along with water pumping and towing of stuck vehicles. In Larnaca and Limassol, the Fire Service managed tree falls, dislodged objects, and sparking cables.
Authorities are staying alert as severe weather continues to impact parts of the island.
