The National Ballet of Slovenia from Maribor is coming to Cyprus on February 13 and 14, 2026. They will showcase two amazing works by famous choreographer Edward Clug. The well-loved Radio and Juliet, which has wowed audiences for twenty years, and the touching ballet Proof create a stunning evening of contemporary dance.

About “Radio and Juliet”

Edward Clug reimagines Shakespeare: his Juliet is the only woman among many men – alone, vulnerable, yet strong – fighting for her right to feel in a world that rejects her. It’s a statement for independence against conformity; a cry for individuality against a faceless crowd.
The bold question Edward Clug asks is simple yet thought-provoking: what if Juliet didn’t die? The ballet starts when she wakes up next to Romeo’s lifeless body and chooses life over fate.
