A special event celebrating the world of children’s stories by the Alkinoos Artemiou Foundation.
The Storytelling Marathon is set for Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Strovolos Cultural Center (Old Town Hall). It promises a day full of stories, imagination, and creativity for everyone. The event will run in two sessions: from 09:30 to 13:00 and from 14:30 to 18:30, with free entry for all.
Words will shine through the storytelling of Angelos Iakovidis, Anastasia Anthousi, Andreas Araouzos, Dena Ioannou, Dimitra Charalambous, Elena Perikleous, Eleni Sidera, Efi Xanthou, Katia Savva, Cleopatra Charalambous, Konstantinos Konstantinou, Lyceum of Agios Georgios, Lyceum of Akropoleos, Lyceum of Ethnomartyr Kyprianos, Maria Papandreou, Marina Maleni, Natia Charalambous, Pancyprian Gymnasium of Nicosia, Stelia Dimitriou Michailidou, Christina Pavlidou, and Christina Christofia.
This event aims to promote a love for reading and spark imagination while highlighting values like love, empathy, and solidarity. It also supports the Foundation’s efforts for children dealing with oncological and hematological issues. Throughout the day, there will be a fun activity called “The Capes of the Superhero of Love,” where kids can join in a creative project.
