The Fire Service is fully active due to strong winds across Cyprus, with 17 incidents reported so far.
Spokesperson Andreas Kettis said, in Nicosia and Strovolos, there have been 12 incidents. Ten of these involve fallen or displaced trees, and two involve a pergola and an awning moving.
In Limassol and the Kellaki community, there are 4 incidents reported. Two are for fallen trees, one for a displaced metal sheet, and one for sparks on EAC cables. In Famagusta, the Fire Service dealt with a tree uprooted by the wind.
The Volunteer SupportCY team is also helping the Fire Service.

Authorities urge everyone to be careful and stay away from areas with fallen trees or objects that could blow away.
