Students from primary schools all over Cyprus took a break from lessons. They picked up cameras for the ‘Video Production for Safe and Creative Internet Use 2025-2026’ competition, organized by the Pedagogical Institute of Cyprus.
The young students, including those from Mathiatis Primary School with their video ‘Think Twice! Keep Your Eyes Open…’, got hands-on experience. They filmed scenes, chose images and sounds, and brought each frame to life. With humor and imagination, they shared important messages about safe internet use, protecting personal information, thinking critically about messages and games, and being responsible online.
The students took part in the ‘Video Production for Safe and Creative Internet Use 2025-2026’ competition by the Pedagogical Institute of Cyprus. By creating videos, the kids tackled issues about responsible and safe internet use in a fun way.
The competition aims to build knowledge and shape attitudes by letting students express themselves. During this process, kids explore modern digital issues, form opinions, and create messages for their peers and adults. This helps raise awareness about safe internet use.
