Today, the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will be light and variable, around 3 Beaufort. The sea will stay calm to slightly rough. Expect temperatures of about 15 degrees inland, 17 degrees on the coast, and 6 degrees in the higher mountains. There may be some frost in the morning hours.
At night, the weather will stay generally clear. Winds will mainly come from the northwest to northeast, light at 2 to 3 Beaufort. The sea state won’t change much. Temperatures will drop to 4 degrees inland, 7 degrees on the southern and eastern coasts, 9 degrees on the western and northern coasts, and 2 degrees in the higher mountains, where frost may form locally.
On Friday, we expect more clouds throughout the day. The weather will turn mainly cloudy by afternoon with a chance of isolated showers, especially in the mountains. Over the weekend, expect intermittent clouds with local rain. Snow or sleet is likely on the higher peaks of Troodos.
The temperature on Friday should stay about the same. However, by Sunday it will drop noticeably, going below average for this time of year.
