Savo was ‘discovered’ by Joel Damahou two and a half years ago when he was with Aris’s network. They bought him in August 2023 from the Swedish club Start. Before he finished two years with Limassol, his value shot up four times!
Specifically, they sold him to another Scandinavian team, Djurgården, in March 2025 for 1.4 million euros.
The technical managers of Limassol’s yellow team chose this option because the player won’t need much time to adapt. He worked at Aris for 19 months.
