A serious incident happened at an elementary school in Paphos. A student reportedly faced physical abuse from a teacher during class.
The child’s mother shared her story on the OMEGA program ‘Information Now.’ She said the teacher pulled her child to his seat, tripped him, and pushed him, making him hit a desk. The fall left the child with abrasions under his eye, bruises, and a cut lip that bled. The father quickly took the child for a medical check-up. Classmates backed up this account, but the principal and teacher say he ‘tripped and fell on his own.’
Investigations are still ongoing. Several parents are ready to support the complaint. Some students were so shaken by the incident that they didn’t want to return to school.
