The Christmas Lighting Ceremony in Ayia Napa will feature two explosive artists
The Christmas Lighting of the festive decorations in the Municipal District of Ayia Napa will take place with the dynamic performances of Marseaux and Mente Fuerte.
View the detailed program online: https://www.agianapa.org.cy/images/easycms/events/documents/1153/Xmas2025.pdf With a grand concert featuring one of the most beloved representatives of contemporary pop and rap music, Marseaux, and Mente Fuerte, one of the hottest names in the Greek trap and rap scene, along with a rich artistic program and activities for both young and old, the Municipal District of Ayia Napa will celebrate this year’s Christmas Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Central Square of Ayia Napa “George Seferis,” marking the official start of the Christmas season. The event, expected to be impressive and warm for the whole family, will commence at 5:00 PM and last until late at night, offering a series of dance and musical performances that will bring color, sparkle, and a festive atmosphere to the city center. The festive program will include dance performances from Evolution Dance Studio, Elite School of Dance, Vision Dance Studio, the Departments of the Open School of Ayia Napa Municipality, and the Ayia Napa Municipal Dance Group, as well as musical presentations from the Nikis & Christos Karaiskos Conservatory. Around 6:30 PM, the Mayor of Ayia Napa, Mr. Christos Zannetou, accompanied by the Deputy Mayors of all Municipal Districts and members of the Municipal Council, will officially light up the Christmas decorations, marking the official start of this year’s festive season. Immediately following will be the grand concert by Marseaux and Mente Fuerte, who are expected to energize the audience with their lively program filled with all their favorite hits. There will also be free Christmas activities for children on-site, including writing letters to Santa Claus, a Christmas mascot, and a special phone booth connecting children directly with their beloved Santa. Additionally, there will be a Christmas Bazaar organized by the Parents’ Associations of Ayia Napa Primary School “Antonis Tzokkas” and Ayia Napa Public/Community Kindergarten, featuring food, sweets, and drinks. As part of the event, there will also be an initiative titled “A Gift of Love, A Smile,” during which social workers from Ayia Napa Municipality, the Youth Band of Ayia Napa Church, and Ayia Napa Youth invite everyone who wishes and can to donate a gift for children in need within the community, embodying the spirit of giving and Christmas love.
