Timur Ketsbaia and Anorthosis management couldn’t agree on his exit from the team. Talks between them didn’t lead to a solution, ending their partnership in disagreement.
This is clear in the official statement from the Prastitis administration about their split.
The statement, just 18 words long, shows there were big differences between both sides that couldn’t be resolved, leading to Ketsbaia leaving Anorthosis.
Ketsbaia’s contract with Anorthosis was supposed to last until 2028, so a way to handle his pay needs to be found. Anorthosis clearly doesn’t plan to pay him the full amount in their deal. Meanwhile, Ketsbaia isn’t backing down and wants all his agreed salary until his contract ends.
