Trainee police officers from the Cyprus Police Academy rushed to help a driver whose car broke down on the Nicosia–Limassol highway near Moni around 3:00 PM on Wednesday.
The trainees had finished their training for the day and were driving on the highway in a private vehicle when they saw the incident. They quickly parked and started managing traffic, ensuring safety.
With help from citizens, they removed the broken-down vehicle from the road, helping traffic flow again. A video on the Road Report CY page shows trainee officers managing traffic and assisting in clearing the road.
A flat tire caused heavy traffic and led to the intervention by trainee police officers.
