A traffic accident happened on Monday morning (05/01) on the Androlikou-Drouseia road. A heavy-duty truck driver lost control for reasons still being looked into.
The truck flipped over on the right side of the road, causing delays in the area. The driver was taken by ambulance to Polis Chrysochous Hospital for medical checks and stayed there for precautionary reasons. Police reported that he tested negative for alcohol. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
