The President of the Cyprus Football Association, Haris Loizidis, talked to the media before yesterday’s national team training. He shared UEFA’s plans to change the EURO 2028 qualifiers and possibly future tournaments after 2028.
“UEFA is seriously considering changing how the EURO 2028 qualifiers work. Instead of groups like before, we might do something like the League Phase in club competitions,” said the President of the Cyprus Football Association. He added:
“Changes are coming, and we need to be ready. We want to take the next step, starting with the upcoming Nations League this Fall.”
