The name Vana Alves is making waves ahead of the January transfer window. It’s no surprise that other teams want the 34-year-old goalkeeper, who has played for Aris for the last 4.5 years.
During his first four years on the island, he was a key player for the Limassol team.
One team really interested in the Brazilian-Portuguese player is AEL. They might be looking at him for next season, which means he could wear the AEL jersey next summer.
The team can’t afford to hire a goalkeeper with a salary of 25 to 30 thousand monthly. The main choice for the ‘number one’ position will be 40-year-old Mexican international Guillermo Ochoa until May.
If Vana doesn’t switch to another club on the island in January, AEL will definitely chase after him in the summer.
