Three people were arrested in Limassol after a vehicle check by the Limassol CID.
The Cyprus Police said the 49-year-old driver allegedly pushed an officer to escape. The officers managed to subdue him and arrested him for resisting arrest.
During the search, two more individuals, both 38, were found. They showed identity cards that are being checked for authenticity.
A search of an apartment revealed many burglary tools, jewelry, gold items, mobile phones, and other belongings.
The three suspects reportedly did not explain why they had the items and were taken to the Limassol CID for further investigation.
They were later arrested with court warrants and placed in custody as investigations continue.
