On Sunday night, there were incidents at the Alphamega Stadium in Limassol after the Apollon vs. APOEL match. Two people were arrested by the police.
According to the Limassol Police Department, as APOEL fans were leaving, a group attacked police officers by throwing stones.
The police used tear gas and the anti-riot vehicle ‘Aiantas’ to manage the situation. During these events, two men, aged 25 and 23, were arrested.
The 25-year-old is charged with public insult, while the 23-year-old was arrested for assaulting a police officer.
