A violent incident took place in Limassol. A 39-year-old man was hospitalized after being attacked by a group. Police have arrested a 29-year-old in connection with the case, and he is being held for questioning.
This happened on Thursday afternoon. Reports say the homeowner visited his tenants and threatened them to leave. He came back shortly after with masked individuals.
The three men in the house ran away, but the attackers chased them down. They caught up and assaulted them, injuring the 39-year-old and a 41-year-old.
The 39-year-old was taken by ambulance to a private hospital. He is being treated for a head laceration, skull fracture, and rib fractures. When the tenants returned home, they found that €3,000 was missing.
The police have gathered statements against the 29-year-old, who was arrested under a court warrant. Investigations by Limassol CID are ongoing.
