The Agia Zoni area in Limassol became a scene of violence on Monday night. Police say a fight broke out between foreigners using bats and metal rods.
After receiving a report, patrols from the Limassol Police Department quickly arrived at the scene. They found blood and various pieces of evidence. Investigations showed that around 15 people were involved in the clash.
While investigating, authorities discovered 12 foreigners in an apartment nearby. One of them claimed he was kidnapped by the others and taken to the apartment, where he was reportedly attacked.
During a search of the apartment, two bats with what looked like blood were found. The 12 foreigners were arrested under court warrants and are being held, while the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department continues to investigate the case.
