GazetaBlic Sport reports that Visar Bekaj is catching the eye of Apollon.
Here’s what the report says:
“Visar Bekaj left Hatayspor in January and is now a free agent. Several teams want the Kosovar goalkeeper’s services. Bekaj, who plays regularly for Kosovo’s national team, has two offers and is thinking about his next steps. According to ‘GazetaBlic Sport,’ the 28-year-old goalkeeper is attracting interest from Volos in the Greek Super League and also from Cypriot team Apollon Limassol.”
Right now, this goalkeeper has been suggested to the Limassol team, which will look for a new goalkeeper if Peter Levenberg leaves the “blue and whites.”
It seems they will prioritize signing a Cypriot goalkeeper. They believe it’s more important to strengthen the attacking flanks with a foreign player than to get another foreign goalkeeper.
